The training system for Chiburim mentors - the secret to our success!
Our professional mentoring method and our training system were developed by Rotem Sameah, and are presented by Liel Harel, social worker, personal coach, and Chiburim’s training director.
All mentors enjoy direct professional supervision for the duration of their volunteering tenure.
Every Chiburim mentor undergoes at least four training meetings in his or her volunteering tenure. They are as follows:
Basic Training
Being the Right Person
Finding the Right Person
Developmental Horizons - Training as a Senior Mentor
In this training you will learn how you yourself can train new mentors into the organization and you will graduate with the status of Senior Chiburim Mentor. This training is for mentors who have been at Chiburim for at least a year and with a record of perseverance and commitment.
